Rapture and Tribulation 2024
I have been watching and waiting for the event Christians call the rapture of the Church since the Revelation 12 Sign appeared in the skies on September 23, 2017.
I believe that the Revelation 12 Sign marked the beginning of a seven year countdown to the end of the Church Age (the Age of Grace) and the beginning of the Tribulation period spoken of in the Book of Daniel. For more on the Revelation 12 Sign, please feel free to explore the subject at this link:

There have been many predictions of the End of the World made over the last 2000 years, but none had any chance of being correct until Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948. That incredible miraculous event, which was a fulfillment of Isaiah 66:8, officially began the End Times, and the countdown to the rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation period officially began.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. (Isaiah 66:8)
Since 1948, the world has experienced an unprecedented moral decline, and the Christian faith has come under increasingly strident attacks. Vocal atheists have gotten God and prayer kicked out of our schools and our public square, and the world has become increasingly embroiled in violence and violent behavior. We now live in a very violent nation and a very violent world, and as I write this the world is on the brink of a nuclear World War III. Threats of nuclear war abound from countries such as Russia and North Korea, and China is poised to invade Taiwan, which they have announced to the world that they would do in early June. Also very concerning is the reality that the nation of Iran most likely has attained nuclear status, and the likelihood that they will use nuclear weapons against the nation of Israel is very strong.
Let's shift gears here and consider the words of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 24. What are the signs of His return, and are they happening in our world today?
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
We won't be considering all of the signs Jesus mentioned in this article, but consider these. These signs are mentioned in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.
- Wars and rumors of wars
- Earthquakes increasing and occurring in diverse places
- Famines
- Pestilences
- Hatred and persecution of Christians
- Signs in the sun, moon, and stars
- There will be false Christs and false teachers
- The world will be as it was in the Days of Noah
I think it's safe to say that all of these signs are occurring in our world today on a regular basis. What makes these signs compelling as indicators that we have arrived at the end of the Church Age and the rapture and the Tribulation period are upon us is not that a sign or two are occurring here and there, but the reality that ALL of these signs are occurring in our world simultaneously! The convergence of End Times biblical prophecy in our time and specifically on this year, 2024, is absolutely amazing!
Never in the history of our world has it been so clear that we are on the brink of destroying ourselves, and the world needs a Savior. The world needs someone who will step up on the world stage and offer solutions to the world's problems and conflicts and bring about peace. I strongly believe that such a world leader is about to appear, but he will come during the chaos that ensues after the rapture of the Church takes place. Millions of people will have suddenly disappeared, and the world will want and need answers. But this man will be a false savior. He will, in fact, be Satan's man, the Antichrist. And he will not appear until the rapture of the Church has taken place.
While the world is a very perilous place right now, I find the incredible times we are living in extremely exciting! This is a very exciting time for those of us who have trusted in Jesus Christ because we know that our redemption draws near. Very soon, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we will be taken out of this world and transported up into the clouds of Christ's glory, and we will forever be with Him in a place wonderful beyond our current comprehension!
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
Now I would like to offer some Scripture that speaks of the rapture event that is about to take place, and offer a video or two that makes the case for our soon departure from this world and the beginning of the Tribulation period.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:50-58)
There are many videos that I could share that give me a strong hope that our departure from this world is very soon, but I will share this one first because I believe that this man has pinpointed the day that the Tribulation period begins. He says it's our rapture date, but I believe it's actually the beginning of the Tribulation period.
If the Tribulation period begins in early October, then the rapture of the Church must take place first, given the fact that a Pre-Tribulation rapture is clearly taught in Scripture. Many watchmen have given strong reasons why they believe that the rapture event will happen in the Spring, and this makes sense given what Jesus said in John 4:35:
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.
Four months before early October would put the rapture event in the May/June time frame. And given that many people have been shown that the rapture event will occur when China invades Taiwan, and as of this writing China has just said that they will invade in early June, it's time to Look Up because our redemption truly does draw near!
C. J. Lovik at Rock Island Books has done some great work, and I would like to offer a few of his wonderful videos here.
And lastly, I will share this: I woke up about midnight a couple of nights ago, with the words "Gospel Ship" being whispered in my spirit (in my mind) by the Holy Spirit. That is the name of an old song that I hadn't heard or thought about in years. But the lyrics are appropriate because I do believe that those of us who have trusted in the precious shed Blood of Jesus Christ are leaving this world very soon!
I hope this post has been helpful in briefly explaining why those of us who are watching and waiting for the Lord strongly believe that this time is upon us and we are about to go Home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ forever. There are many watchmen on YouTube sounding the alarm right now, and there is virtually unanimous agreement that the rapture event is upon us and it is about to happen! For more information and confirmation, I strongly recommend these YouTube channels:
- Global Rapture Watchers
- Watchwoman 65
- Bytemaster
- Watchman River
- More Watchman River
- Rock Island Books
- Repoman 64
- David the Watchman
There are many other watchman channels, but those are a great start. And in closing, I will offer this video that Repoman 64 published last night. It's for those who have been left behind after the rapture event takes place.
For those who may be reading who have not yet trusted in Jesus Christ, it is imperative that you get saved NOW, before the rapture happens, so that you don't find yourself left behind with the Tribulation period ahead of you. Salvation is much easier now than it will be after the rapture happens. If you put it off for too long and you miss the rapture event, you will have to die for your faith in Jesus during the Tribulation.
The ONLY way to be saved is to put your full faith and trust in the precious shed Blood of Jesus Christ for the remission and forgiveness of your sins. Jesus Christ took the penalty for your sins on that brutal Roman cross some 2000 years ago, and He nailed every charge that was against you to that cross. When you put your trust in the sufficiency of the Blood of Jesus to atone for your sins, you will be forever saved. Please see John 3:16-18, Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:22, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, and 1 John 1:7, and 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Trust in the Blood and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and you will be saved!
God bless you! Come quickly, Lord Jesus! Maranatha!
